Indulging in Bhagavad Gita most of time I wanted to know what Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma stood for. It was in the later stages of spiritual pursuit I finally realized that Lord Shiva was none other than an enlightened one, one whose kundalini had awakened fully! The serpent in the neck of Lord Shiva said it all. The blue body of Shiva is also reminiscent of the Vish (poison) that leaks to the body from the throat while churning both positive and negative thoughts mentally.
