The Doctrine of Advaita Vedanta propagated by Adi Shankaracharya says Other than Brahman God Almighty nothing Existed in Cosmos

The doctrine of Advaita Vedanta propagated by Adi Shankaracharya says other than Brahman (God Almighty) nothing existed in cosmos. The world perceived by senses was an act of Maya (veil of illusion)… in reality other than God Almighty (Brahman) nothing existed in cosmos.

As detailed in Upanishads (independent treatises) when dissolution of whole cosmos occurs (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)… the entire cosmos reduces to the size of half a thumb. Devoid of dross impurities within all souls atmans in cosmos regained their lost original pure prime pristine primordial form forever. All these pure souls’ atmans carried the volume of half a thumb. This singularity, the size of half a thumb… collective power of all souls’ atmans in cosmos is what we called God Almighty in all its glory.

This magnificent primordial cosmic energy, size of half a thumb unable to contain itself for long in its prime pure state again explodes with a big bang resulting in formation of a new cosmos… a new journey of life! God Almighty (Brahman) was that singularity in the beginning of cosmos that resulted in creation of present cosmos.
