If we had absolute faith in God (shraddha in Hinduism) does not mean we forget we were a physical body. Absolute faith in God relates to field of spirituality, never the physical manifest world.
Absolute faith in God does not mean walking in the center of road and facing a truck head-on. We just could not expect God Almighty to save us.
We just could not mix laws of physical manifest world with that of spiritual! MK Gandhi mixed ahimsa with politics. Result, Lala Lajpat Rai faced British lathies totally unarmed and died a gory death.
If we followed our scriptures literally, then should we face enemy loaded with AK-47 with bows and arrows?
