One or two enlightened ones came every 100 to 200 years on mother earth. That was how God Almighty ordained cosmic system to be. Imagine if 50 Gautama Buddha came simultaneously. There would be total chaos as whom to worship or not.
In the last about 150 years only two enlightened souls manifest on mother earth… Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! Both were born ordinary mortals but gained enlightenment in their lifetime.
An avatar (God manifest in human form) like Lord Krishna comes every 3500 to 5000 years. To re-establish Dharma (righteousness) against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness) coming of an avatar was mandated by God. Man gods like Mahavira (24th Tirthankara of Jainism), Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed could not succeed in re-establishing Dharma. Their goal was different.
Life will shortly come full circle. The end of present Kali Yuga is near and people await advent of Kalki avatar, an avatar of present era. We are yet to see the worst times. The advent of Kalki avatar would become a reality at the time of world war 3. The coming decade would be full of surprises for entire mankind. Mankind would witness a man as powerful as Lord Krishna.
