None has seen Brahman (God) and also could ever see. The highest representative of God on mother earth was an avatar (God manifest in human form). The status of an avatar was much above an enlightened one. Lord Krishna practically was the first avatar who advent on mother earth to spread cosmic wisdom invoked directly from domain of God Almighty. Born an ordinary human being, when very young maybe 4 to 6 years of age his kundalini awakening fully! Lord Krishna reached stage of enlightenment that very moment.
An avatar is a deadly combination of an enlightened one like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed and Chanakya, the most able administrator in the history of entire mankind. The advent of an avatar has only one purpose… to re-establish dharma (righteousness) against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness). As detailed in Hinduism scriptures life comes full circle every 3500 to 5000 years. This simply means mankind witnesses advent of an avatar every 3500 to 5000 years.
Allegorically Lord Krishna represents soul atman existing in human body. Lord Krishna in Mahabharata, in Bhagavad Gita is always depicted as sarthi (charioteer) of the chariot (human body) owned by Arjuna. Meaning to say the journey of life could not be completed in absence of guidance from Lord Krishna within. Unless our soul atman guides from within, one could not reach stage of enlightenment. As reaching stage of enlightenment was the cosmic goal of life on mother earth, Lord Krishna is considered Bhagavan, an embodiment of God himself.
