Absolute Control on Unwanted Thoughts can be Achieved only by Establishing Absolute Control over Five Senses and Mind

Absolute control on unwanted thoughts, stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi (when not a single thought entered our brain uninvoked) can be achieved only by establishing absolute control over five senses and mind. Establishing absolute control over five senses is an extremely difficult proposition but not impossible.

By indulging in scriptures of different religions of world, the vagaries of ephemeral world personify. We slowly realize that present creation is but an act of Maya (veil of illusion). As detailed by Adi Shankaracharya in his doctrine of Maya, other than God Almighty nothing existed in cosmos!

If we see the world from trusteeship point of view, the logic becomes clear. Everything truly belonged to God Almighty. We were only an instrument in hands of God Almighty doing his bidding. By traveling path of nishkama karma yoga we could easily establish control over five senses and mind.

The Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is one such scripture that details everything relating to establishing control over five senses and mind. If Swami Vivekananda could do it so could we.

Every second thousands of unwanted thoughts flowed to our brain uninvoked. By indulging in positive thoughts all the time, by practicing nishkama karma yoga… we could stem the flow of all these unwanted thoughts gradually. We also need understanding doctrine of Prarabdha karma.

A portion of karma termed Prarabdha karma was invisible, could fructify any given moment of time. Unless we neutralized negative residual balance of Prarabdha karma, we could never establish absolute control over five senses and mind.

When I started in search of God six years of age I had no inkling what karma was all about. It took me above 15 years to unearth mantra for scuttling Prarabdha karma in totality. Thereafter it was never looking back.
