Seekers reached stage of enlightenment after dismantling all earthly ties, karma to zero forever. In such circumstances how could an enlightened one even think of marrying one? One who has already become a pure soul atman… a living Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed could never marry under any circumstances of life. Such an eventuality did not exist in spiritual realm!
