Hinduism strictly believes in Existence of Brahman God Almighty the One and only One

The Advaita doctrine propagated by Adi Sankara relates to non-dual concept of God Almighty. As per Adi Shankaracharya nothing other than God Almighty existed in system. Only when the unmanifest becomes manifest the whole cosmos gets created. Before manifestation, existed world of pure souls’ atmans, the collective power we called God Almighty in all its glory (Brahman in Hinduism), size of half a thumb!

Everything relating to Advaita, Adi Shankaracharya could only be understood through path of logical reasoning, contemplation. As explained by Adi Shankaracharya in his doctrine of Maya (veil of illusion), the whole cosmic system was but gaseous formation. Only when viewed from senses point of view things appeared solid but in reality everything was clusters of atoms and molecules including human beings.

Duality was part of manifest system, not the unmanifest. Hinduism strictly believes in existence of God Almighty (Brahman), the one and only one. The sacred Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent treatises) were absolutely clear on this point. More on what is brahman
