Yoga Meditation was Necessitated if our Goal of Life was Spiritual never Otherwise

Yoga meditation was necessitated if our goal of life was spiritual, never otherwise! If we desire reaching God in present life, stage of enlightenment… indulgence in yoga meditation was an absolute must! Yoga meditation leads to our true inner self existing in our heart as our soul atman, the consciousness! Yoga meditation always was a journey within.

Indulging in nishkama karma yoga one could indulge both in internal and external pursuits of life. King Janaka (father of Sita in Ramayana) though an enlightened one successfully indulged in affairs of his kingdom. He never attached self to fruits of karma performed. In present times even late JRD Tata, the scion of Tata Empire indulged in physical pursuits of life working for welfare of mankind all the time.

For JRD Tata money, wealth was only a means to an end. The prime purpose of human journey was welfare of mankind all the time and also of individual self. By indulging in yoga meditation one could definitely reach God within, become a pure soul atman forever. Our soul atman was God Almighty in miniscule form existing in his. If an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman, the whole mound God Almighty.

On path of pure spirituality realizing self, realizing God… reaching God all meant the same!

One indulging in yoga meditation must learn to separate spirituality from religion. Indulging in religious practices (rituals) one never reached God.
