I indulged in yoga meditation from six years of age. It was early in life I recognized the value of contemplation. Meditation was never about sitting in a hall concentrating on nothing something. If we were to reach God in our present life, our traveling path of jnana yoga was necessitated. One could follow sacred texts of different religions of world only through path of jnana yoga, never literally.
The main purpose of indulgence in yoga meditation was reaching the hidden underlying meaning of scriptures. This was only possible through path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom). My indulgence in contemplation was round-the-clock. Even while morning jogging, walking, standing… swimming, studying… I indulged in contemplation all the time.
My quest to find God in this very life, cease my journey of birth and death was absolute… I had to do it in this very life. I never wanted to postpone things to next life as most people world over often do. Something that we could not accomplish in present life, why take an excuse and keep it pending for next manifestation!
When about nine years of age my absolute goal of life was final… reach God within this life! My indulgence in yoga meditation started almost 24 hours of life. Lying in shavasna pose of yoga while going to bed in night, putting my queries to Lord Krishna and other enlightened souls… I dissolved all my queries within step-by-step. Every single day I indulged with Lord Krishna and other enlightened souls with new set of queries. In the morning when I got up… all my queries within had dissolved forever.
I indulged in yoga meditation for almost 31 years before I succeeded in reaching God in 1993 37 years of age.
