Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says one could indulge in yoga meditation living wherever we were. Meditation is always indulged via path of contemplation. We have to indulge in jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom) to assimilate hidden underlying cosmic truths of life contained in sacred texts of different religions of world.
From six years of age I contemplated on… who was I, my relationship with God… who was God, what is the meaning of life on mother earth and so on. Sitting in a darkened room concentrating on a dimly lit light yielded nothing. The moment I concentrated on meaning of yoga meditation everything became clear. It seems the entire world indulged in yoga meditation wrongly.
I indulged in contemplation in the morning hours almost Brahma muhurta when out for jogging, during walking, talking, standing, swimming… even indulging in studies. At the first available opportunity I indulged in contemplation unmindful of my studies. My first priority of life was reaching god in this life. I never wanted to leave things to chance for next manifestation. Whenever I discussed the matter with elders in the family none seemed interested. All were interested in material pursuits of life.
My indulgence in yoga meditation for a period of 31 years led me to abode of God. I finally realized self in the wee hours of third of August 1993 37 years of age. Having reached cosmic end of life, 8.4 millionth manifestation… I can say with total confidence that yoga meditation must be indulged only via path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning! Believing in rituals (religious practices) were meaningless on path of pure spirituality.
