Why would one want to see Lord Vishnu when we could realize one! Lord Vishnu is always depicted as a god lying on Shesha (the thousand headed serpent) with goddess Laxmi sitting by the side. Allegorically what does this indicate? One lying on a serpent clearly indicates that unless human beings awakened their kundalini shakti fully, there could never emancipate from cycle of birth and death… becoming pure soul atman! Lord Vishnu depicts a pure soul atman in all its glory.
Traveling path of spirituality, indulging in yoga meditation every single human being on mother earth could reach level of Lord Vishnu. Indulging in Hindu mythology one truly reaches nowhere. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed and in recent times Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana… all reached level of Lord Vishnu, a pure soul atman.
