Kundalini awakening was integral to path of pure spirituality. Unless our kundalini awakened fully, human beings could never reach stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation. The full awakening of kundalini announces karma negating to zero forever. The full kundalini awakening means our soul atman reaching stage of absolute purity.
Mahavira (24th Tirthankara of Jainism) did it and so did Gautama Buddha. Jesus Christ succeeded in awakening kundalini fully and so did Prophet Mohammed. All these man gods reached stage of enlightenment only after full awakening of kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine.
For full kundalini awakening, practice of absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation was necessitated. This aspect of celibacy which demands mental indulgence was difficult to practice… prime reason why people shun spiritual path in favour of religious travel. As per Bhagavad Gita the highest level human beings could reach was gaining enlightenment.
We just could not be misguided by present-day movies and TV serials that talked of extraterrestrials.
Becoming a Mahavira or Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed was essence of present life. As ordained by God Almighty, every single human being on mother earth had the potential to become a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed in present life. By following path of spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita we could awaken our kundalini fully. The moment this happens, Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opens fully. One immediately reaches stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) forever.
