Interpreting scriptures literally never helps. We were not born in Kali Yuga. We created a Kali Yuga out of Satyuga by indulging in negativity, obnoxious feelings towards one another. The concept of Kali Yuga and Satyuga was only a perception. It was all a creation of mankind. In Kali Yuga not more than 5% people were truthful; in a Satyuga the position reversed, not more than 5% people were untruthful.
In my recent American sojourn I did not find a single trace of Kali Yuga, prime reason why United States of America is superpower number one. None in United States of America keeps waiting for a savior, messiah to come and set things right. All citizens of country feel responsible for every activity in life. The perfect community feeling, the perfect infrastructure and almost 100% perfect law and order were some of the reasons why US is superpower number one.
Unless Indians opened their eyes to reality and started working truthfully nothing would improve. We keep calling others ignorant but all the while we were more ignorant than others. In a decade or so mankind would witness advent of Kalki avatar… savior, messiah of present times. Till then, Indians must take charge of life themselves and set their house in order. It is the responsibility of every single individual to set a shining example of their country.
