If someone said to me, what could I do now so that I could go to Mars in the future… what would be my reply? I would only say it was just not possible. The reason was apparent.
Immortality was a property of our soul atman, the consciousness existing in our heart. Immortality could never be gained in physical manifest human form. What we see in science fiction movies was pure fiction having nothing to do with absolute reality.
Traveling path of spirituality, indulging in yoga meditation when human beings reached stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation, the liberated soul atman finally emancipates forever from cycle of birth and death! This stage of absolute purity of a soul atman is called immortality. The liberated soul atman in absence of dross impurities within need not manifest a body again. One finally becomes immortal forever.
To reach stage of immortality Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana traveled path of spirituality, indulged in nishkama karma yoga… traveled path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) in their lifetime. They finally succeeded in reaching stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation.
