Who wants to go to heaven (swarga in Hinduism) where temperatures exceeded millions of degrees centigrade? Heaven exists in core of sun and hell (naraka in Hinduism) on the periphery. None could go to heaven or hell body. Both heaven and hell were places for souls’ atmans to hibernate.
After death of human body, the released soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new cycle of life. If matching parents were not available, the soul atman hibernated in heaven or hell. In heaven (swarga) if the residual balance of karma at the time of death was positive and hell, if negative! Upanishads (independent treatises) were absolutely clear on this point.
Traveling path of spirituality when human beings reached stage of enlightenment like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed… our soul atman liberated from cycle of birth and death forever. The moment an enlightened one left mortal frame, one gains moksha salvation. The liberated soul atman finally enters abode of God (kingdom of God), Vaikuntha in Hinduism.
Going to heaven or hell was never a matter of choice for human beings! No sooner matching parents become available on mother earth, the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new journey of life on mother earth.
