How to be Happy in Life

Follow your passion something that comes from within and you shall remain happy all your life. When we indulged in karma not to our liking, there were lots of heartburns. We all the time felt agitated from within.

In a country like India more than 80% youngsters followed goals of life dictated by their parents! That trend is now reversing. Comparatively in west most students pursued a career of their choice. Prime reason, they were happy from within. The glow on their faces said it all. If we were happy from within, our faces glowed like torchlight.

Following our passion in the initial stages of life may seem difficult but with passage of time everything evens out. Even parents, elders in family adjusted to changed surroundings. There are many cases where parents did not abide by wishes of their children. The children finally left in search of their passion, becoming absolute success in the game of life. The same parents not only accepted the new-found glory but realized their folly.

The seeds of happiness always lay within. By following path of contemplation, self enquiry… logical reasoning, we can realize our passion in life. Having a goal in life is journey half covered. From six years of age I was a free bird, the Jonathan Livingston seagull as detailed in the book “Jonathan Livingston Seagull a story” by Richard Bach. I did not follow the path fixed by my parents.

I did complete my engineering from one of the finest engineering institutes of our country but my goal of life lay elsewhere. Got married, indulged in family business but my journey towards ultimate goal of life also continued side-by-side. On the physical manifest plain I was Managing Director of my organization having offices all over India but within I pursued my ultimate goal of life, seeing and meeting god in this very life.

25 years of yoga meditation I finally realized self, realized god in the wee hours of third of August 1993 at 37 years of age. This is my last manifestation on mother earth, 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. Freed forever from cycle of birth and death, I have become a pure soul atman. My cosmic journey of life as a soul atman has finally come to an end.
