Teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita pertain to Spiritual Path Journey towards Inner Self

Teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita pertain to spiritual path, journey towards inner self. Youngsters must indulge in Bhagavad Gita if our goal of life was spiritual. On path of spirituality we must remember only one simple thing… in the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana succeeded in reaching stage of enlightenment following the teachings of Lord Krishna contained in Bhagavad Gita.

If we had the grit of Swami Vivekananda and were prepared to follow path undertaken by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana… our indulgence in Bhagavad Gita gets necessitated.

Living a materialistic life indulgence in Bhagavad Gita was perilous! Why would we want to look inside our heart if our goal of life was not spiritual! It is an absolute misnomer that Bhagavad Gita had so much to give to youngsters of today. The more we indulged in Bhagavad Gita greater the anxiety! Reading Bhagavad Gita most would want to leave confines of family forever. Bondage or Moha (extreme emotional attachment) towards family members, relatives and friends prohibited so.

We would not like to ride journey of spirituality half-heartedly. It would land us into severe depression. World is full of youngsters who neither understood precepts of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita nor indulged in materialistic pursuits of life satisfactorily.

I started in search of God six years of age. My goal of life was not only spiritual, I wanted to emancipate forever from cycle of birth and death in this very life itself. I never wanted to leave things to chance. Living within family I somehow succeeded but I do not recommend youngsters indulging in teachings of Bhagavad Gita if our goal of life was not spiritual.

The essence of Bhagavad Gita in nutshell:

We were primarily a spiritual being manifesting human form. As a soul atman we manifest human form to cleanse self of dross impurities within! Indulging in teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita we could reach stage of absolute purity, stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation. We could become a Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana in present life. Once freed from cycle of birth and death, the liberated soul atman need not manifest a body again. The cosmic journey of life for a liberated soul atman finally comes to an end.

World over people indulged in Bhagavad Gita from management point of view. Thousands of books relating to management and Bhagavad Gita existed in market, but to what avail. We must realize that allegorically Lord Krishna was soul atman existing in human body. For human being to reach stage of enlightenment, help of sarthi (charioteer) existing in our body as Lord Krishna was mandated. Unless we wanted to indulge in spirituality, what was the use of indulging in sermon of Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna! We must never live a life of pretence as most so-called travelers of spiritual path did.

On Internet itself we could find thousands of queries relating to depression, not able to set a goal in life, losing interest in life and whatnot. Instead of seeking material goals in life why indulge in Bhagavad Gita and mar our present and future!

Youngsters must contemplate seriously before entering portals of Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita advocates traveling path of nishkama karma yoga, never running after fruits of karma performed. So many queries by youngsters on Internet say… why we must not go after fruits of karma performed? If I was young and wanted to manifest a successful life, I would go wholeheartedly towards my only goal of life, even materialistic! JRD Tata was a perfect karma Yogi yet all his life he never indulged in spirituality. Not for a single moment in life JRD Tata worked for the sake of money, wealth.

We can indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita if our goal of life was serving mankind all the time. If JRD Tata could manage without teachings of Bhagavad Gita… where was the need for youngsters to indulge!
