From the beginning of time God Almighty (Brahman in Hinduism) never interferes in the life of mortals. God always acts as a Dhrishta (onlooker), never interfering with creation of his. Everything in cosmic system was directly governed by laws of karma and evolution. As our indulgence accordingly manifests our destiny! We could not expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree.
To improve our lot, to manifest success in life our indulgence in good karma all the time was a must. Indulging in nishkama karma yoga, path of jnana yoga seekers succeed in reaching stage of enlightenment, moksha salvation. In our path towards God, God Almighty never helped us directly. Remaining truthful we could hear the sweet small inner voice of soul atman coming from within our heart. Guided by voice of soul atman human beings reached stage of enlightenment!
We must never think in terms of being distinct from God Almighty. In fact God Almighty existed within all living beings in miniscule form as our soul atman, the spirit within! If an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman, the whole mound God Almighty. The moment an enlightened one reaches stage of moksha salvation, the liberated soul atman entered abode of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism), a point of no return.
