Based on doctrine of karma the reason was apparent. If the incumbent, the so-called first human being succumbs to untold misery in present life, it directly resulted from karma indulged in past. Hinduism scriptures say all human beings directly evolved from stage of animals.
Suppose the present human being was complicit in murder as an animal in earlier life. What would be the effect of that karma indulged in past. Doctrine of karma says… as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more! Based on our indulgence in past, we were likely to suffer in present… even in human form!
