On Personal Level Arjuna could have Forgiven Duryodhana

On a personal level if someone hurts us than we could forgive one but what if a whole system goes astray… beyond all stages of sanity. This is what happened with Kauravas. Collectively they were responsible for practicing adharma (lawlessness). Lord Krishna intervened and advised Pandavas to face the situation head-on by indulging in a battle of Dharma (righteousness).

On personal level Arjuna could have forgiven Duryodhana. Practicing forgiveness in present times seems difficult, yet we had no other alternative. Why? It was for the simple reason that karma takes care of all doings… good or bad all the time. One indulging in bad karma was bound to suffer. None in this world could escape inscrutable laws of karma… as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more.

Bhagavad Gita advises that wrongdoings must never be countered by indulging in wrong. Taking care of our interests, we must do the best possible in the circumstances. People with spiritual inclination most of the time suffered at hands of such people but in practical life one can definitely counter adverse forces.
