As detailed in Upanishads (independent treatises) when dissolution of old cosmos occurs (Pralaya in Hinduism) all souls atmans in cosmos automatically reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. In absence of dross impurities within all souls atmans carried the volume of half a thumb. At the time of big crunch the whole visible cosmos reduces to size of half a thumb.
This extremely dense primordial cosmic energy, collective power of all souls’ atmans in their pure form is what we called God Almighty in all its glory. God (Brahman), size of half a thumb unable to contain itself for long in its prime pure state again explodes with a big bang to start a new circle of life. All pure souls atmans scatter all over cosmos. In the melee they gained impurities.
To cleanse self of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman. No sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system souls atmans immediately start manifesting bodies one after another.
