Evolution of consciousness reaching its zenith means becoming an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina!
In the last 5000 years came Lord Krishna, an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form)… and enlightened souls like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed… Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana!
Apart from these came Adi Shankaracharya, saints like Sant Tukaram, Eknath, Namdev, Samarth Ramdas, Kabir, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Jnaneshwar all of whom gained enlightenment in their lifetime.
Consciousness existing in our heart was our soul atman, the spirit within!
