The image of Lord Shiva in Hinduism depicts only one message… to reach stage of enlightenment; full awakening of kundalini shakti was necessitated. The serpent in the neck of Lord Shiva says it all.
The blue body of Lord Shiva also expresses hidden fundamental truth of life. Before human beings succeed in reaching stage of enlightenment, one needs establishing absolute control over mind power. Every second thousands of thoughts flowed through our brain incessantly. Indulging in Samudra manthan human beings all the time churned both positive and negative thoughts. As a result both Vish (poison) and Amrita (nectar) was produced. The Vish resulted in body getting blue and Amrita was used for full awakening of kundalini shakti.
The deep blue neck demonstrates that most enlightened ones retained Vish in their neck… despite this some of the Vish flowed to the body turning in blue.
