Intelligence can be broadly categorized into two categories… bookish and inherent! Bookish knowledge helps one earn our daily bread and butter, live a meaningful life on mother earth! The inherent knowledge, jnana wisdom derived from scriptures, sacred texts helps human beings shed dross impurities within our soul atman… reach stage of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation.
Hinduism believes in continuity of life from one manifestation to another. Occurrence of death does not mean cessation of intelligence within. Whatever knowledge we gained in present life automatically transfers to next manifestation. The closing balance of present life at the time of death becomes opening balance for next manifestation, the new journey of life!
The best part of spirituality always was… at whatever level we leave field of spirituality in present life; we could start from the same level in next manifestation. Prime reason why kundalini of Lord Krishna awakened at a very young age probably 4 to 6 years of age! Lord Krishna was an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form).
Adi Sankara gained jnana wisdom at a very young age… 15 years of age! He wrote commentaries on Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent treatises) and Brahma Sutras… when very young! He left his mortal frame by the age of 32.
All enlightened ones like Mahavira, Jesus Christ… Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana reached stage of enlightenment when very young.
Intelligence can be gained by any human being at any stage of life! Everything depends upon our mastery in the art of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning!
