Ishadi Nau Upanishad Gita Press Gorakhpur India Nine Principal Upanishads containing Original Shlokas Verses with Hindi Transliteration

Scriptures of Hinduism primarily Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent treatises) could never be understood literally they demand reading in between the lines. We have to develop power of contemplation, self enquiry, logical reasoning to reach hidden inner truths of cosmic life contained in Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita.

The volume Ishadi Nau Upanishad from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India contains gist of nine principal Upanishads, the original shlokas verses with Hindi transliteration. If you are comfortable with this go-ahead! Otherwise go for individual commentaries by Adi Shankaracharya of all nine principal Upanishads available from Gita press. The commentaries by Adi Shankaracharya have been translated in Hindi.

The nine principal Upanishads are – Isha Upanishad, Kena Upanishad, Katha Upanishad, Prashna Upanishad, Mundaka Upanishad, Mandukya Upanishad, Aitareya Upanishad, Taittiriya Upanishad and Shvetashvatara Upanishad. Apart from these nine principal Upanishads, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad and Chandogya Upanishad were equally important.

We can go through preface of all these and start from any volume. Every Upanishad had a different story to tell. We must indulge in Upanishads as per our convenience.
