As per Hindu traditions whatever our karma, accordingly manifests our destiny. Every sin committed by us does not go unnoticed in domain of god. Law of karma clearly says, as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more. The karma of one could never be transferred to another, no matter what. A spiritual preceptor can affect karma of one on one-to-one basis, nothing more. Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa who gained enlightenment in his lifetime in the end stages of his life transferred the throat cancer of his seeker to himself causing his death. The seeker cured from throat cancer soon after.
As per scriptures of Hinduism if we commit excess of sight then we might be born blind in next life. For example – if a family suffers on account of multiple murders and we were a witness and in the court we deny our presence at the place of murder. This is a heinous crime in eyes of god. For misusing power of eyes, for giving a wrong statement in court we might be born blind in next manifestation.
Recently on Indian TV a program of past life regression was shown. The person who was being regressed was born dwarf without legs. In regression he pointed out that in last manifestation he was cause of humiliation for many girls for trying to outrage their modesty. To escape being caught he jumped from a balcony and ran. While crossing a railway track his legs got jammed in the tracks and were cut, the reason for being born without legs in next life. This man is a fine artist working in Indian film industry. He was so remorseful of his acts in previous manifestation that he cried hoarsely in front of all.
We can escape punishment for our sins in past or present life only by undergoing penance and indulging in good karma, positive karma all the time in present life.
