Eternal success means reaching stage of enlightenment… becoming a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed in present life. Indulging in contemplation, introspection, path of spirituality when we negate karma to zero… the cosmic journey of soul atman, the consciousness within finally comes to an end. The ultimate goal of human life always was reaching stage of absolute purity as a soul atman. Though enlightenment could never be termed absolute success, it was emancipating forever from cycle of birth and death.
As a human being, the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle we must always try to follow dictates of our soul atman coming from within. Our soul atman always tries to merge with Parmatman (God Almighty, Brahman) at the earliest. This becomes possible when indulging in spirituality human beings finally succeed in reaching God in their lifetime.
All achievements of physical manifest life never get transferred to next manifestation. Real success is what we gained on path of pure spirituality.
