Empty Mind Meditation Empty the Mind of all Thoughts

Every second thousands of thoughts flowed to our brain incessantly. To stop the flow of these thoughts in totality our indulgence in nishkama karma yoga was necessitated. Working with an unattached attitude is what nishkama karma all about. We had to live like a trustee… a custodian, caretaker taking care of things that already belonged to God Almighty.

Furthermore we had to dissolve all queries within. This became possible by indulging in path of contemplation, self enquiry, logical reasoning. The more we indulged in scriptures, lesser the queries and lesser dross impurities within our soul atman. Travelling path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) was necessitated to eradicate all traces of queries within.

We had a limited time of 70 to 80 years of earthly sojourn at our disposal. We had only one life to live, the present earthly domain. In this short period we have to negate our karma to zero. Indulging in jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita, I started my spiritual journey sincerely and diligently. Lying in shavasna pose of yoga during bedtime, I most of time indulged in contemplation.

I never believed in anything because man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed said so. I even did not believe in what scriptures said. I tested each and every statement on altar of absolute truth. Only then queries within dissolved forever. It was only by trial and error I slowly moved ahead on spiritual path. 25 years of yoga meditation I finally reached stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi (stage of absolute nothingness) when not a single thought entered my brain uninvoked.
