If a person was destined to live 61 years of age and one succumbs to accidental death at 60 then spiritually the lifespan would be divided into two phases of 60 and one year of age. The released soul atman would manifest a body only for one year of age. In spiritual terms, on cosmic scale nothing much happened. The lifespan of 61 years was broken into two parts, nothing more than that.
The other alternative was… if a mother gives birth to a child and abandons it at one year of age then as per laws of karma the soul of mother after physical death would manifest a form only for one year of age. That was how karma neutralized with each other. Every single abortion was an act of sin and would not go unnoticed in domain of God. The parents would suffer effects of this sin in present or future lives.
When a bus full of devotees falls into a gorge, from religion point of view… the act was termed hideous and many blamed God for the same.
In domain of God everything was weighed in terms of karma. The so-called devotees in real life may be really good in present life but what of their past! If they had a negative residual balance of karma from previous manifestations… they were bound to suffer at some stage of life! Everything resulted from their own negative karma indulged in past. God was never to blame for such activities. Becoming a devotee in present life does not absolve us from negative residual balance of karma from previous manifestations. One has to bear all the consequences resulting from karma of past lives.
If all the devotees in the bus had no negative residual balance of karma from previous manifestations and the death was accidental, then all would reap fruits of positive karma indulged in present life in next or future manifestations.
