Suppose a human being was destined to live 64 years of age. Accidentally this person succumbs to death at 56 years of age. In the cosmic scenario how would life operate next! The released soul atman would again manifest a body only for eight years of age. When this child eight years of age dies a natural death, on mother earth the family weeps bereaved but in cosmic system nothing much happened. The lifespan of 64 years was divided into two phases… 56 and 8 years of age.
That is how life operated in cosmic system as detailed in Bhagavad Gita.
