Lower Forms of Life Law of Karma

Amoeba (single cell formation) is the first manifestation undertaken by a soul atman, the consciousness within. Medically I have no idea if bacteria also had souls’ atmans within. As detailed in scriptures of Hinduism, this single cell formation further evolves into multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life and finally human form. For the entire cosmos cycle to complete, in its lifetime every soul atman manifests a maximum of 8.4 million bodies of which 1.1 million manifestations occurred in human form alone.

Based on law of karma and theory of evolution life moved ahead in cosmic life cycle! As our karma accordingly manifests our destiny! In case of starfish there has to be an energy centre around which evolves life of a starfish. It is normally believed our soul atman resides in our heart. In absence of a heart or brain… there has to be an energy centre that connects vital elements running the body.

As per scriptures of Hinduism, life in insect, plant and animal form was primarily based on instinct to live. Survival of the fittest was the goal of all. Devoid of power of discrimination these lower forms of life indulged in karma totally unaware of its results. As the indulgence, accordingly manifests their karma. The governing principle of karma… as we sow so shall we reap, nothing less or more was applicable to every single form of life whether insect, plant, animal or human beings.
