Human beings owed their intelligence to faculty of mind. No human being ever had an independent mind. We all have a brain that works like a receiving and transmitting station. All thoughts rotating in either all around globe were invoked by human beings directly from reservoir of mind plus and mind minus. All positive thoughts flowed from reservoir of mind plus and all negative from mind minus.
By indulging in yoga meditation, contemplation human beings sharpened their intellect (buddhi). With passage of time human beings developed phenomenal powers of concentration gaining mastery over mental powers! Normal human beings used their brain 1 to 2% the remaining lying dormant all the time. Albert Einstein the famous physicist is said to have used his brain 4 to 6%. All enlightened ones used their brain 100%. As the evolution of brain, accordingly the invocation of thoughts!
Practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation human beings succeed in full awakening of kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine. The moment this happens, Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opened fully. One immediately becomes an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina… a Mahavira forever. The dormant lying portion of brain activating fully, one connects to God Almighty on one-to-one basis.
Based on our indulgence in absolute celibacy, we could slowly activate dormant lying portions of brain and increase our intelligence phenomenally. Practice of celibacy was like taking an elevator to the top of Empire State building instead of staircase. Practice of celibacy helps channelize sexual energy towards our only goal of life. If our goal of life was gaining intelligence then be it!
