A Yogi may be Wise but not Intelligent A Householder may be Intelligent but not Wise

Intelligence that can be gained through bookish knowledge was needed to indulge in day-to-day routines of life. A wise person always indulges in path of contemplation, introspection… logical reasoning to reach hidden cosmic truths of life contained in scriptures of different religions of world. Jnana wisdom contained in sacred texts was necessitated if our goal of life was spiritual. A wise person was at times indifferent to workings of physical manifest life like a Yogi indulging in path of nishkama karma yoga. A Yogi concentrated on real truths of life contained within than the ephemeral world. A Yogi may be wise but not intelligent. A householder may be intelligent but not wise.

A perfect Yogi who travels path of spirituality even while leaving in Grihastha ashram (married life) was both intelligent and full of wisdom!
