It is recorded in Scriptures of Jainism probably Jainism mythology, when Mahavira (24th Tirthankara of Jainism, preceptor) gave deshna (discourses) even lions and buffalo sat side-by-side. This could only mean… telepathically Mahavira could establish contact with lower forms of life like animals.
When our brain activates fully to 100% capacity (this happens when one gained enlightenment) one telepathically could communicate with birds and animals. This was a distinct possibility, not remote.
