Hinduism Primarily Remembered for its Spiritual Teachings

Every religion existing in this world had two dominant paths to follow… religious and spiritual! Path of religion (rituals) was comfortable to travel, the preferred path of most human beings on mother earth. Path of spirituality was extremely difficult to travel prime reason why in a span of 100 to 200 years only one or two enlightened souls were permitted by God Almighty. Imagine if 50 Gautama Buddha came simultaneously… it would be chaos world over, whom to worship or not!

Stage of self realization, god realization can be reached only by traveling path of spirituality never religion (path of rituals). In the present Kali Yuga (Dark Age, metal age)… which could also be termed as age of pretence, human beings seemingly indulged in religious practices calling it spiritual all the time. None wanted to understand that swarga (heaven) existed in core of sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade. Yet, most world over desired going to Heaven (swarga)!

Seekers, those taking spiritual journey indulging in yoga meditation, path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) finally succeed in eradicating traces of karma within their soul atman. In absence of dross impurities within the soul atman finally emancipates from cycle of birth and death forever… reaches end of cosmic life, 8.4 millionth manifestation.

It is because of spiritual wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent treatises)… even Vedas (Hinduism revelations)… Hinduism religion was considered the only path to reaching God in present life. This was also truthful for Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed finally succeeded in reaching stage of enlightenment following precepts of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita. Hinduism primarily is remembered for its spiritual teachings as ultimate purpose of human life was emancipation from cycle of birth and death forever, becoming a pure soul atman!

Animal sacrifice and superstitions definitely form part of dogma but precept of karma, afterlife were integral to spiritual practices.
