Before existence of any other religion in this world existed Hinduism (called Sanatana Dharma in Vedic times)… something that existed from times immemorial… prime reason why Hinduism is also called a way of life.
Religions like Buddhism, Christianity… Islamic Dharma evolved after teachings of an enlightened one. All man gods like Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed reached stage of enlightenment following principles of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita; Upanishads (independent treatises)… even Vedas (Hinduism revelations).
None in this world could gain enlightenment in absence of teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita. Hinduism is not only the oldest religion of world but also the cradle from where evolved all other religions of world.
Initially existed Sanatana Dharma and then followed Jainism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islamic Dharma etc.
