Moksha and heaven (swarga in Hinduism) do not relate to each other. Moksha is the stage one reached after an enlightened one left mortal frame. In simpler words moksha means emancipation from cycle of birth and death forever… becoming a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life. Devoid of dross impurities within the purified soul atman need not manifest a body again.
As detailed in Bhagavad Gita we were primarily a soul atman manifesting human form. To cleanse self of dross impurities within, to work out or karma we manifest human body. Traveling path of spirituality, indulging in yoga meditation human beings finally succeed in reaching stage of enlightenment… moksha salvation!
When death occurs, the released soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new journey of life. When matching parents are not available on mother earth, the soul atman hibernated in heaven (swarga in Hinduism) if the residual balance of karma at the time of death was positive and hell if negative. Heaven existed in core of sun where temperatures exceeded millions of degrees centigrade. It was in such high temperatures our soul atman felt comfortable.
No sooner matching parents become available on mother earth, the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new body to start new journey of life.
After reaching stage of moksha salvation, the liberated soul atman finally enters abode of God (kingdom of God)… Vaikuntha in Hinduism!
