The entire cosmic system was governed by inscrutable laws of karma… as we sow so shall we reap nothing less or more! If someone suffered in life or was poor or born poor, everything owed its existence to presence of negative residual balance of Prarabdha karma from previous manifestations! A positive residual balance of karma from previous manifestations resulted in our experiencing happiness, worldly riches all the time.
All human beings evolved from stage of animals. When our soul atman manifests human form for the first time, it was based on residual balance of karma at the time of death in the previous manifestation. As the human life evolved again and again through process of reincarnation, rebirth… we kept manifesting life forms proportional to our residual balance of karma. Born poor, or in the house of a king… we could not undo the past yet, indulging in good karma positive karma in present life we could manifest destiny forever.
Whatever we have, whatever our status in life… we truly should be thankful to God Almighty all the time as by no means we could undo the past! In all stages of life we were responsible for the karma indulged by us. We just could not blame God Almighty for our woes, sufferings!
