The ultimate goal of life for human beings always was fixed… reach end of cosmic life, become an enlightened one at the earliest!
What if I wanted to pursue a materialistic goal in life? Whatever our interim goal, we retained our right to pursue that goal in life. God Almighty ordained a long journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form to reach stage of enlightenment. There never was hurry! All human beings are imbibed with a free will, power of discrimination to distinguish right from wrong. We were in all respect controller of our life at every stage of life. By indulging in requisite karma we could reach any goal of life!
If people in West pursued a materialistic goal of life, they were perfectly right in their choice! The only side-effect of materialistic life was… rotating in endless cycle of birth and death again and again! If we desire permanent liberation from endless cycle of birth and death, our indulgence in spirituality… path of yoga meditation was necessitated! People in India all the time traveled two boats, prime reason they never lived in the present. They could neither successfully live a materialistic life nor spiritual!
Goal of life must always be one… materialistic or spiritual! In a limited lifespan of 70 to 80 years of earthly life… to pursue spiritual goal of life we need starting early! All enlightened ones in the entire history of mankind started early. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana started in pursuit of God quite early in age!
We must never forget our ultimate goal of life was gaining enlightenment but we could always have a different goal of present life. Whatever our goal, we must always enjoy the journey wholeheartedly!
