Teachings of Buddhism belie belief in God. The sacred scriptures of Hinduism firmly advocate belief in God termed Brahman in Hinduism… the one and only omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient creator of cosmos (termed Brahmaand in Hinduism).
Belief in God as per in scriptures of Hinduism was necessitated only if we desire traveling path of spirituality in present journey of life. Even an atheist can be a Hindu and live a meaningful life. Spirituality was primarily meant for those in search of God, never otherwise.
Firm belief in God (termed shraddha in Hinduism) was integral to teachings of Hinduism. Belief or no belief is a personal matter. It never interferes with our personal life. The moment we indulged in scriptures of Hinduism… belief in God was necessitated.
