Unable to visualize, conceptualize the one and only God Brahman in Hinduism, religious preachers of different era divided Brahman into three entities so that mankind could worship God in Sakaar form (having a form) even though Brahman was always Nirakaar in form (having no form). Lord Brahma was created as creative attribute of God Almighty. Lord Vishnu as the maintainer and Lord Shiva, the destroyer… the ultimate controller!
In Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna clearly says that we must for our worship prayers directly to Brahman and never the various attributes of God Almighty including all gods and goddesses of Hinduism.
