As detailed in Upanishads (independent treatises) Brahman in Hinduism simply stood for creator, God Almighty, the one and only one. The collective power of all souls’ atmans in cosmos in their pure form is what we called God Almighty in all its glory. It is this magnanimous celestial energy, the size of half a thumb, explosion of which resulted in formation of present cosmos.
It is God Almighty, Brahman that exploded self to form present cosmos through a big bang.
