The animal instinct no more exists in human beings. We have already evolved above the animal stage. As the stage of evolution, accordingly the manifestation of limbs! Some lizards had eyes that could rotate 360°. To safeguard from predators, god provided them with rotating eyes. As these insects evolved into plant life and then animals they had eyes on their sides. The eyes on the sides helped them when fighting with other animals or protecting self. If they had frontal eyes they would be killed by predators in no time.
For human beings having eyes on the sides was not necessitated. Using power of discrimination we could sense danger from afar. Furthermore we were protected by weaponry. For usage of weaponry like rifles, revolvers… eyes in front were necessitated. Furthermore, to interact with other members of the society, frontal eyes were the best. For working on computers or any other gadgets frontal eyes was a necessity.
With passage of time as human beings evolved further, usage of limbs would reduce. Being a spiritual person I can safely assume that in future we would evolve to a stage when limbs were no more required. We would only have a head for meeting and moving around. This is not purely an assumption but based on logical reasoning. Human beings evolved from reptiles that crept on land and had big tails. As the use of tales became meaningless it disappeared with time. The creeping reptile evolved, became a standing human being. Our mental powers would finally result in human beings losing their limbs in future.
