Realization in spiritual sense relates to stage of self realization, god realization… the end stage of spiritual pursuit! Self realization indicates we, as a soul atman… reaching stage of absolute purity.
Ever since occurrence of big bang when all pure souls atmans got separated from their source God Almighty himself (Brahman in Hinduism), they got mired in impurities in their cosmic sojourn similar as a rolling ball gathers moss. To cleanse self of dross impurities within started cosmic life cycle of every soul atman. No sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system, souls’ atmans immediately started manifesting bodies one after another. This chain of reincarnation, rebirth continues until a soul atman reaches 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle.
Traveling path of spirituality when human beings negated their karma to zero, one became a pure soul atman forever. This is stage is termed self realization, god realization. For a self realized person there was nothing more to achieve in this world. The moment a self realized person left mortal frame one gains moksha salvation forever. Self realization could never be stated as self-awareness, self-actualization and different terminology used by travelers of spiritual path. Self realization is the end goal of human life. Every single human being on mother earth will have to indulge in spirituality to reach end of cosmic life. We can do it now in present life or leave it for future manifestations.
God Almighty ordained a long journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form to gain self realization, god realization. There never was any hurry.
Indulgence in scriptures like Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent treatises) had only one purpose in life… reaching stage of self realization, god realization.
