Hinduism is an Umbrella Religion in the shade of which existed Jainism Buddhism and all other Smaller Religions Existing in India

Hindus and Indians do not hold different meaning. If a foreigner asked me who was I, my answer would be an Indian. If he further asks my religious affinity… I would say I am a Jain (born in Jain community). But above all I was a true Hindu as from six years of age I followed teachings of Bhagavad Gita in totality. Hinduism is an umbrella religion, in the shade of which existed Jainism, Buddhism and all other smaller religions existing in India. I’d never thought of myself as a Jain distinct from a Hindu.

To a foreigner like Trump, India was primarily controlled by Hindus. Teachings of Hinduism were the foremost of all religions existing on mother earth. Name it anything; the identity of Indians would primarily be that of Hindus.
