Spirituality and Wisdom the Underlying Connection

Spirituality is the doctrine… wisdom (jnana), a path that propelled human beings to indulge in contemplation, path of self enquiry… path of logistical reasoning to reach hidden underlying meaning of sacred texts of different religions of world! Unless one travelled path of jnana (wisdom)… one could not follow precepts of spirituality detailed in teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita… even Upanishads (independent treatises).

Those who relied more on bookish knowledge… indulged in scriptures literally! They never gained anything on spiritual path ever. It is jnana (wisdom) that helps human beings scuttle all traces of karma from our soul atman, the spirit within! Devoid of dross impurities within… the soul atman gained absolute purity forever! Path of jnana (wisdom) was a sure shot method of reaching God in present life! Apart from jnana (wisdom) there were many other factors that were necessitated to travel path of spirituality.
Foremost of which was… path of absolute truthfulness! Unless we were truthful in life… we could never hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman that seemed to come from within our heart! This voice of our soul atman always guides on right path! Remaining truthful in life was a very vital part of spirituality. Practicing truthfulness does not mean… we could indulge in vice occasionally! Our practice of truthfulness must be absolute… 100%! Only then pearls of wisdom hidden in scriptures unveiled to us!

Path of nishkama karma yoga was another inherent ingredient of spiritual path! Offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time… is what nishkama karma all about! We had to live life like a trustee. King Janaka and JRD Tata all their life lived like a true trustee of God. They believed that everything in this world belonged to God Almighty and they were only custodian of it! Both King Janaka and JRD Tata all the time worked for welfare of mankind… were true karma yogis par excellence!
Practice of absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years was another inherent ingredient of spiritual path! Only then one could realize full potential of kundalini. By practicing absolute celibacy for 12 years in continuation… we finally succeed in full awakening of Kundalini Shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine! The moment this happened… Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opened fully. One immediately becomes an enlightened one… a bodhi, a Jina… a Mahavira forever!

One could practice absolute celibacy, nishkama karma yoga… also walk path of absolute truthfulness without indulgence in path of jnana (wisdom)! To some extent, we can confidently say… Jnana (wisdom) was necessitated to unravel most parts of spirituality! Path of jnana (wisdom) was integral to spirituality! More on jnana wisdom
