In his book complete works of Swami Vivekananda Volume 2, Swami Vivekananda highlights one should never attach self to karma performed. We must not run after fruits but give importance to karma performed, the path. According to Swami Vivekananda cause for all misery, sorrow existed in non-fulfillment of desires. If we leave fruits of karma performed to God, all our sorrows would dissolve.
We never experienced sorrows in success but in failure. Swami Vivekananda says life is a journey. We must enjoy the whole not wait for the end. If we continued experiencing success everything was all right. What if we experienced failures? If we were not attached to success, failures cannot disturb us. Swami Vivekananda exhorts human beings to work with an attached attitude, not detached.
In our attachment we must quit our attraction to fruits of karma performed, leading to a happy life.
As per Swami Vivekananda happiness laid in giving, never attaching self to desires. As per Swami Vivekananda if we were truthful, we might experience many inconveniences in day-to-day routines of life. This is the price we paid for remaining truthful in life. Swami Vivekananda exhorts human beings to work for welfare of mankind all the time, as he himself did. Swami Vivekananda exhorts us not to become beggars in the journey of life. He advises following our passions, living our life to full capacity.
Swami Vivekananda emphasizes invoking positive thoughts all the time so that negativity does not follow behind. We must stop blaming others, God Almighty for our woes. Everything results from karma indulged. As our karma, accordingly manifests our destiny. Instead of wasting time in blaming others, god, we must concentrate wholly on our goal of life. We felt hurt only when we failed or did not gain success. Taking all in stride we must pursue our goal of life, something dear to our heart.
