Where was it written in Hinduism that all Hindus must indulge in spirituality to reach stage of enlightenment in their lifetime! Path of spirituality was not that easily traveled… prime reason why most Hindus indulged in rituals (religious practices) in hope of reaching God in their lifetime.
As detailed in Hinduism scriptures every single human being on mother earth had a maximum of 1.1 million manifestations in human form for reaching God. There never was hurry. If we find it difficult to overpower five senses and mind in present life then we could do it in next life.
The only problem was rotating endlessly in cycles of birth and death! When about nine years of age I finally decided to stop this cycle of transmigration forever! I indulged in spirituality, yoga meditation to reach God in present life 37 years of age.
All depends on our goal of life. My goal of life was fixed six years of age… reach God in present life!
