Temporal, impermanent glimpses into domain of God can be had by any, even those on drugs! But does scripture support consumption of drugs for the sake of pleasure?
One is far away from spirituality when on drugs. God can only be reached via path of nishkama karma yoga… working for welfare of mankind at large all the time.
Self pleasure was a taboo on path of pure spirituality. It is only when we established absolute control over five senses and mind, one reached stage of enlightenment.
We need to overpower ego, to succeed on path of pure spirituality!
